the whole concept of building your ship with different parts and taking down the enemy carrier by destroying major components its great, but only 4v4 seriously? they should make it 10 vs 10 or 8v8 at least

Probably won't be F2P, but it still looks sharp.
I'm wondering if they plan to add more players eventually and fill up the ranks with some AI bots...

it won't be F2P, but then again- I don't really care. I'm getting it just like I'm getting Squadron 42 and star citizen. why? Cause I'm a gamer born and bred of Dog-fighting sims.

I've had this game installed a while & I'm just not that sure about it.
Firstly the artwork style is rather adventurous, I imagine some people would love it & others hate it - I'm afraid it does nothing at all for me, not without a backstory of some kind that would let me make sense of it.
Then there's the ship handling. They're reasonably big, slow and cumbersome, except for some keystrokes that let you suddenly perform sharp turns - if you're not spamming these cheat keys then I imagine you'd be cannon fodder. There's no partial inertia, no drifting.
Finally, there's this big rectangle on your HUD, and any enemies within the rectangle are automatically targeted. You don't have to worry about shooting accurately, leading your shots - nothing. Just get enemies within that box and fire your guns, they'll always hit. That's my least favourite feature of the game, it really dumbs it down & to me its a bit of a dealbreaker. Oh and also, as Jack mentioned above, 4x4? If I wanted that I'd take my old landrover off-road.

I agree with longshot.
the game needs work to be a dog-fighting sim. the ships need to be quicker on the turns and the auto target shouldn't be so OP. anyone who merely plays the tutorial can fly effectively, not just those who actually learn the ship. also- the ship building needs balancing, I easily made a REALLY OP ship, high armor, speed, and firepower, with very little time. it does take a long time to kill a ship though. where as I can rip hullplates from anything in seconds playing 90% of dog-fighting sims, this one feels like shooting tanks with a pistol. even though I could fly loops around Bitesback in my ridiculously OP ship, it took me quite awhile to actually shoot him down. once he got his own OP ships made, it was basically down to who launched rockets first, and kept launching them longest. the boost is a bit OP too, and weapon ranges need to be longer.
