Greetings and salutations

Post by Cmdr. McBragg on Mon Jun 18, 2012 6:54 pm

Hey all. Just thought I'd do my part and continue with the introductions.

I'm an Old Guy(tm) who loves flight fighter games - Wing Commander, Privateer, XvT, Freelancer, Red Baron (hey! How'd that get in here? ) ... Slipstream turned me on to Moon Breakers and I've been on every day since. Still n00bish in my mighty Mamba, but loving the process of figuring it all out. Hope to see some of you in space...

I've seen you in that Mamba.

"Funny... you didn't seem Noobish"

That line came into my head from John Candy in "Spaceballs"

Privateer... there's a game I wish they'd remake and in MMO

No kidding. I had hopes that SW:TOR would have space battles, but not so much....

I see you have a Hammerhead too Smile Keep at it, with a bit of practice its quite a powerful weapon.

Yeah, just got the Hammerhead, and I'm liking it. Great for CTF and Assault defense (at least as far as I can tell...). Still learning how it maneuvers, but so far, so good.

Welcome aboard McBragg! Figuring it all out, and nailing those new maneuvers each time afterwards is bloody awesome - and when you manage to take out a more powerful ship with your Mamba it's sweet as. Happy hunting!
