also im very good defending the carrier from bombers and flag stealers
my favorite ship is the X99 so far
my favorite game mode is seek and destroy
english its not my native language so forgive me if dont write properly sometimes
that'll be all

Re: greetings
Welcome to the community Jack.
I've played with you a bit and have come to respect your skill, it's good to have you here.
that said two questions?
One is - What's up with the handle? I only ask because it has been a source of conversation among the pilots on vent.
The other - have you considered hopping on vent and hanging out with us... there is a live chat option so you can type if you don't have a mic but it makes it all a little more personal and community like.
see ya out there

first question... by Handle I mean Name, alias, nickname... we have had soem discussion and were curious why "the rapist"? Honest curiosity no offense intended.
as to the second... with the vent chat feature (typing) we have a TTS (text to speech) function that allows you to type and we can hear it, as well as you already being able to hear the people talking. it's how Abstractness and several other pilots with out mics (or english isn't a first language) communicate on vent. It's still a pretty good option in that regard as at least you can hear whats going on and when it's important share your views.

Re: greetings
ah now i understand, my nick well its based on jack the ripper the british serial killer at the end of the 19th century i didn't want to be so unoriginal so instead of jack the ripper i added ''rapist'' since they both sound similar and to add a bit of black humor to the nick
didn't know vent had that option i mostly use teamspeack gonna have to try it thanks for the info btw

Re: greetings
I figured as much for the name, but it still definitely catches the eye.
Fun historical fact the term 'rape' has only taken on a strictly sexual assault related connotation starting in the twentieth century. Previously and as far back as the viking era it just meant to Plunder and carry off. The term 'Rape and Pillage' oft associated with viking raids was slightly redundant but literally meant to take stuff (and people) by force and bring it home with them... which is funny considering the term Viking is simply a nouned version of the verb to Vike which also means to Take by force. (but I digress and there was no real point to that but i like to explain it.)

Re: greetings
its nice to know those historical facts and the best part is that now my nick has more meaning at least while playing on the pirate side!

Re: greetings
Heya Jack, welcome aboard I use both Vent and Teamspeak, and sometimes forget I have one open while I'm talking in the other to the utter confusion of both sides.

Honestly , your Name (tag) was the only thing keeping me from trying to recruit you (a bit offensive, tbh). That and you sometimes have a tendency to ram your teammates and steal their kills. Could have just been that one day or a few coincidences, but your skill is recognized here.

Re: greetings
Nothing wrong with resurrecting old threads on this forum (at this stage, anyway) - especially if there's something of note to add/further discuss
But yeah, seems like the welcome threads are also evolving into a personal pin-board for each pilot too, hey? Not an entirely bad idea, tbh.
