Steam or Chrome Empty Steam or Chrome

I play in Chrome on Windows.

With my meagre i3 Dual and Integrated Intel Graphics, Steam is about frames per second for me. Chrome clocks in at about 10-20 (playable).

I play through Steam, though I originally started in Chrome (Win). My framerate was pretty low (also 10-20).
I get high 30s on my work laptop with Steam and some hardware acceleration (via MSI Afterburner), though framerate tends to drop a lot when there's a lot of action or smoke on the screen.
I expect to see closer to 60 when I fix my desktop PC, with no chugging when somebody pops smoke in front of me.

i sort of feel like i'm disappointing someone somewhere when i say i'm a steam and windows user... not sure why i feel that there might be a low opinion of steam users, but i do.....

Actually that should be possible now (ie "using wine")

What I want to know is, where's the option of playing on linux running inside virtualbox on a mac, using steam via wine?

WTF... sound like "Inception - OS Edition" Smile Why you don't use wine directly on your mac?
