HE 3 Purchases

Has anyone had problems purchasing HE3 through steam with wallet funds? I do not have a CC linked to my account. Also its in Euros if it matters. I have posted on the userecho forum and am waiting for WJ or someone else to respond.

Just did some the 2 days ago through steam wallet and all worked for me. That was before the 2 updates last night though.

I had a problem a few weeks back when I bought a boost. I'd click the button in MB and nothing would happen - it'd hang.

Strangely rebooting my computer fixed the problem.

WJ is looking at it, I have re installed, Verified Cache files, everything. No Clue.

Purchasing Steam Wallet funds went smoothly for me last time out.It should automatically convert your money from what ever currency you are buying with and complete the transaction.I used Paypal and it was instantaneous but perhaps there is a delay when using a card, I wouldn't know...I'm a smart guy and choose not to have one

The wallet has funds. MB hangs when purchasing in the game.
Steam then logs it as Failed, with no other reason.

Tried rebooting? Worked for me.

I have rebooted. I have reinstalled Steam. Reinstalled MoonBreakers. Verified cache files. Disabled anything and everything. I am a Sysadmin, so I have a good idea how to do things. Just cant figure this out. I am going to contact Steam later today then wait for the week it takes to get a Reply.

If you could buy HE3 on Steam, I would be good to go. Or even if you could transfer in Game, I would give someone a Steam gift worth what I want to spend. It sorta Sucks.

Just opened a ticket with Steam.

Why does no one want my money? Its not fake, honest.

Maybe suggest to WJ putting some Steam bundles in for He-3 only.

Though I'm getting the vague memory that that's been discussed before and it wasn't possible for some reason?? Or does Steam take a large a chunk of commission out of the transaction? I can't quite recall...

WJ has found an issue with their Steam API and will have to fix it. It does not affect everyone, so it seems I am lucky

Here is how they are handling it. They are crediting my account the HE3 amount I have been trying to get. WITHOUT ME PAYING FIRST!!! Un-frickin' Believable!

Next week after he makes some code changes, I will try to purchase again. When it goes through, I have agreed to contact them so they can remove the Newly Purchased HE3.

Okay, all I can say is that WJ is fabulous! And this kind of response and support has made me a Life Long Fan! How Cool is that!

Really awesome news Can Swiss! And yes, you were lucky, but think of it this way -- cause you "found" the error, you've beta-tested that out for anyone else who might've encountered the problem in the future or already had it and did nothing. Good on ya!

I was unable to purchase them through steam today, tried rebooting...all that...but then I loaded game via chrome and was able to purchase. Wasn't sure who to tell so I put it here

You can let WJ (engineer) know at the moonbreakers.userecho.com forum. Type the topic you wish to see into the main search bar and it'll bring up related topics. I think this one is already in there somewhere...

It is Loki. And a Known Bug. WJ is neck deep in the Matchmaking, and this bug is still keeping me from purchasing. Hopefully he gets it cleared up soon.

Hooray I'm not the only one; I've never been able to purchase He-3. I did post about it in the user echo forum when i first started playing and either Ed or WJ said they would look into it. Have never heard anything back; but I am not phased, as I am a minority with my problem and would rather see the developers looking after the whole game, as they are doing. I think WJ does a great job taking in all the feedback it must be overwhelming.
I ended up buying all 3 steam DLC's; which gave me some nice verity, (even though it included the G5 kingfisher twice), and a reasonable contribution to the Devs, I hope. Now i am buying the ships bit by bit with hard earned credits. Which I think is more enjoyable. Every time i get near 850000 for the Swordfish or Viper, I deviate and buy a cheaper ship that was on demo for the week I, contemplating the Swordfish or the Kraite at the moment:)

I just want to make sure one thing, before i buy some boosts in our favourite game, so i ask for ur help. Forgive my "N00bishness." XD (Does this word exists? )

So what is the difference between the 2 10x boosts? One is for 1000 He, another is for 800 He. For 800 i get a boost for 25 plays. The other one for 1000 He is for one day, if im right, whith no play time restrictions? So i buy it, and play all day long, to make it worth the money the most.

Am i right, that the one day boost is better, if i want to play all day long?

Welcome to the forum

Your descriptions are correct. If you can secure some solid play time, a timed booster holds the most value for your money over a per match booster. I recommend this method.

In addition, the per match boosters have been acting strangely lately. They are used up even if you enter in the last few seconds of a match, or if a server crashes and you start back in a new game. At the moment, there's not much we can do about it.

Snoop around and soak up some of the info around here.

I did realize the same you mentioned about the 25 time boosts. Quite annoying, but im over it now.
