Veto(ing)

Post by eltazar on Tue Dec 18, 2012 5:53 am

is it just me, or is really a great increase of noobs yelling "veto XYZ" (appoint whatever, game type or map). I lost my cool yesterday and curse at some player, also about week ago I did the same about Frodo_B... I really do not understand this behavior, what kind of sense does veto has anyway? to make all the games as CA/SN?CTF? or play just the BSides map? there are so few modes and maps already, please, STOP VETOING THE GAME!

Lol I usually tell people to veto CTF as I can't stand capture the flag.

I don't usually veto maps, and in lobbies with small amounts of players, instead of telling people to veto CTF I tell them to veto Carrier Assault lol.

I just can't find the fun in carrier assault without a lot of people. :/

I understand how it could be annoying, considering the low variety of game modes and maps, but if people wanna veto, they can veto. It is their choice after all.

But yes, I've been seeing people do this for a long time. Actually I haven't been seeing it as often, though that might be because I haven't been playing as often.

I totally agree, there are only 3 maps and 3 game modes, that's only 9 options! No need to decrease that. And I love CTF Wink

I have been seeing a lot of CTF and CA. For some reason no one wants to play S&D lately. I like the others as well but there's something to be said about some old fashioned asteroid bumpin.

At least it's democratic. It's about the only meaningful control we do have over the game sadly.
