Dev's are handing out hacks?

So, I'm flying around, being awesome, and all of a sudden I get a chat prompt from a friend on Steam that some shady business is going down on the US west server in Moonbreakers. I, being a nosy little jerk, decide to take a trip to the far off land of West! I show up, and low and behold, the pilot named TheDarkRedFox is firing dual torpedoes, and I have screen shots of it. When asked about it he starts flag trolling and cursing at me saying they were a gift from a Developer, considering how long it's been since we heard from them I believe these to be hacks. Also and I'm pretty sure, but, I think there might have been boost fuel hacks too. Everyone, or most, know how good I am at chasing bombers around the carrier TheDarkRedFox was out pacing my G5 and F-3X two out of three times in his B-10T.

So what do you guys think? Are the Dev's now actively attacking our game by dropping hacks into it, or is Fox full of shite?

no. the devs did not fix this exploit even when we made them aware of it a month or two prior to them disappearing... other people have finally figured it out too now...

Agreed with Anger; it's not the Devs.
There's been a few people on Userecho reporting the same kind of exploits.

The comment about the Dev's being involved is just sarcasm, however it is good to know that this isn't the work of actual hackers and is a preexisting condition. This thread was, more or less, to alert any concerned people about another childish troll spawn, TheDarkRedFox.

i have been flying my rhino with excess torpedo firing rate (20-30 / second) for giggles here and there, but i dont use it unless it's comical... point being, it doesnt take a hacker to do this lol...

I Agree. It Is Not The Devs. They Have Not Been Heard Of in Quite Some Time. And As for The Hack, That Would Be My Little Sister. And I am In no Way A Troll. I Have Since Removed Said Hack And Changed My Steam Password To Deny Any Furthur Access From My Sister. But Thank You For Notifying Me of This. And As For Userecho, I Was Actually Suggesting The Dual Nukes. It Was My Sister That Made That Possible.

Th major concern for this thread post was to establish whether or not the Dual Torps gimmick was a legitimate hack, because I hadn't seen anything like it occurring before on the forums or in my time of playing the game. As far as sibling are concerned, I understand when they take your stuff that they tend to have a lower restraint when it comes to interacting with others, cause it isn't their name being muddied up. It's good to hear that the actual user for the name isn't the prick, and seriously your sis was being quite a foul mouthed child, I had the displeasure of chatting with in game.

But Seriously, I Have Completely Removed The Old MoonBreakers Files And Reinstalled. So There Is Mo Chanse That Anything Could Still Be Active. And As For The Outrageously Fast B-10T, I Have It Fully Upgraded And Am A Master At Feathering My Afterburners. And Any Other Strangeness Can Be Blamed On My Crappy Internet. It Goes Out Every Now And Then And I've Heard Reports Of Strange Things Happening. Once, I Got Logged Out By My Internet, And When I Logged Back In, There Were Two Of Me! XD I Shot Myself Down! But Yeah... I Hope This Clears Up Everything.

You do understand that the B-10T can't out run the Sidewinder in a straight alley, right? The SW has the better speed and pump needed to out class anything in a 'race' on Moonbreakers. My 'not being able to catch' the 10T is not possible with exploitation or either speed or afterburner tweaks, because of the stacked odds against the 10T. The only player that I've had pause in pursuit is Longshot, mostly cause he does that weird ramming thing where his ship is caught on the carrier when it should be bouncing backwards.

Agreed. Said the same thing in the Cheating thread. A Mamba or Kingfisher should also be able to keep pace with a Timberwolf indefinitely.
You can also catch a Timberwolf using a Viper, Krait, Swordfish, or Stingray, though of these, though you have to catch and kill before you run out of boost. Usually only the Stingray has the stopping power for that, though I suggest bringing some friends along.

You Get Close Enough To Land A Few Hits All The Time, But It Seems That I Still Get Away In The End. You Should Try The B-10T. It Is Fast And Agile. I Bought The B-10G Thinking It Would Be An Improvement, But It Has NO Fuel And Is As Slow As A Rhino. It Just Looks Really Cool.

I don't know about the others, but, the last time I played against your account was when it was firing dual torps and out boosting me, which lead to the creation of this thread. Prior to that I can't remember 'losing' track of you, though that is not to say you didn't put up a decent fight to evade me.

U cheat troll, u have upgrade damge now and speed is far superior over other fighters. U are also a liar and a piece of shite.
