Favorite weapons

Topic. Mine are beams.... not as clumsy or random as slug-throwers. An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age. Oh, and there's always the twin-rocket surprise facial.

GPD because fuck the police.

Nothing beats trapping a pesky defender between your panther and the carrier & slowly grinding their bones to paste.

Tracking missiles are elegant.

Canons incite terror
Beams can make your ship vanish from afar

I'm sure it will come as a surprise to everyone, but my favorite weapon is the beam canon.

At least until the techs can figure out how to strap one of those interior turrets to my Bison...

Nothing beats my 'auto-aim' corrector it's what i call my sexy beasts Quad guns.

I love the Fast Cannons from my Hammerhead.

That's why I love the "Gun Runners"; fighters with heavy weaponry with devastating effects lol.

Beams, missiles and ramming speed, THAT is how one wins in a krait.

The funniest thing for me would be to dodge around an asteroid...and have someone blow up behind me. DOH

Ramming, crushing and blowing everybody up with no weapons at all is the funniest way to kill. It usually ends up with me getting blown up as well, but who cares?

About the real guns... it's irrelevant what bullets or explosives I have in my guns, the enemy gets blown up anyway. Beam cannons are my weak spot however, I'm not patient enough to wait while aiming.

MY favorites? I'll have to admit, I've only used 3 weapons. So far, it has to be RetDets. I love the things, coming in second is... you guessed it, ramming. I ain't called the 'Mamba Ramba' just to be cool

Rockets are mine. Mamba, drifting 1200m snipe shot vs incoming Grant with no remote det is my best to date.
Heavy Cannon comes in slightly ahead of Machine Guns for second.

i voted for beams, but... if you can hit directly with rocket, its the best feeling in the game

Beams are my thing. Ask anybody in-game: I'm a bitch to take out when I'm in my Nighthawk.

Machine guns, for now, since I can't afford anything with better weapons...

I understand....although I've been playing for a while, I watched everyone get other weps while I had to stick with the MG.....

I love ripping up the opposition with the dual cannons on my FH-100. I love the sound they make and the damage they do to heavily armored flyers. I love to do my evil villain laugh as my opponent pops after such a barrage. Saddly, last August when they amped most of the other fighters, they didn't do anything to the HammerHead. It went from a very competitive heavy, to the unwanted stepchild of the game. But, I still love and fly mine and my villain laugh is well practiced.

fh-100 still has punch. it just isn't as maneuverable as the other heavies - '90 drifts, '200 and '250 have boost tanks and speed, even a80 has instant airbrakes that it can abuse if done right (a80 drifts like a brick through sand).

the cannons are still awesome, centered rapid fire on a heavy ship. sure it won't do much in dps terms but in bursts it can wipe out lights and with some persistence mediums too...
