Greetz Ppl

Post by Wolfski on Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:41 pm

Hey all read about you lot on the steam forums... thought I'd drop by and say hi....
I can be found lurking on MB servers in pretty much any zone but I play from the UK. Not a frequent flyer but I kick back with 2-3 hour sessions once or twice a week....

Been playing 3D style space shooters since Star Raiders on the Atari 2600 (Now how many of you are old enough to remember that !!)
Progressed through games like Wing Commander, Tachyon-The Fringe, Freespace 1 and 2.... this game is like a natural progression, plays very similarly to Tachyon used to..... Its far more simplistic than a lot of the other things I've played but thats the attraction, it really is a pick up and frag type of game... No having to learn what half the keyboard does... simple objectives.... basic gameplay and instant fun.....

Also enjoy flight sim games and the occasional bit of FPS (mainly BF3 these days)

I'm a mature gamer of koff koff 40+ years but the reflexes are still as sharp as ever.. (who am I kidding !)

Catch you all among the 'roids!

respect

Look at this (single) grey hair, Wolfski! *points at scalp* I may not have had an Atari but I did start out with an XT... oh that black and golden screen...

Forty-schmorty, the ability have fun whilst playing the game right is not the domain of any one particular age-bracket.

Quite glad that there's a lot of pilots who are fans of the old dogfight games discovering Moon Breakers and showing their support. And the pick-up/put-down, get in there and start playing nature of MB - that's one of it's strong points.

Thanks for dropping by Wolfski, and hope to see you in-game!

To you and everyone else from Steam -- welcome aboard! /salute pirat
