help, with ventrillo

I've heard about this ventrilio app thing but cannot set it up.

Can anyone help me please

What exactly is the issue?

From the main screen, set your User Name & Server. Server requires a web portal and port number. Use the settings scrolling across the top of every page on this forum; Ventrilo Server : vent19.gamespeak.com Port: 4343

You should go to the Setup page to make sure your mic works and set a hotkey for voice chat (or set for auto).

Hit the Connect button. You will see a list of chatrooms and a list of people logged into each (if any). To talk to someone, you have to be in the same room as them. Double-click an occupied room to start talking.

Some players don't have/use a mic, so they use the Chat window instead (click the Chat button). Enable the TTS checkbox to hear what the others are saying. You can change TTS voice settings in the Setup window.

Thanks, that worked. Do you run it in the background during a game then use your PTT key to chat?

Anytime.

That's how I do it, though others set the mic to auto detect voice, and it sometimes picks up their game or music.
