That has got to be the most underwhelming & amateurish trailer ever released.

Oh, and the game details look nothing special either. Having said that, I've signed up for the beta - who wouldn't?

I'd like to think this will be somewhere between the the space-sim feel of XvT or Alliance and arcadey-Battlefront 2, but it'll probably be just like Battlefront 2...

Do you mean SWTOR Galactic Starfighter?  I don't think Attack Squadrons has been released yet, nor will be anytime soon.

Edit: Unless you're a lucky bastard who's received an early beta invite??  I found the following beta gameplay footage, the game looks like its at a _very_ early beta quality right now:-

Several enemy ships just disappeared for no apparent reason, the X-Wing was slow & clumsy to turn, there appears to be only 2 speeds (normal and fast) with no drifting ... and those blaster guns all firing together sounded like a herd of ducks quacking Smile

Yes. It has its issues lol. The people disappearing are actually just teleporting all over the map due to some form of lag. I didn't really consider myself lucky to get in the beta, I thought most people who signed up for it had gotten in lol. Also, you can actually brake, so you can go slower if you want.

But um, I love the game's simplicity. Its what makes it addicting.  Cool  The single map, single game mode (for now anyways.), and simple weapons remind me oh so much of MB. lol

I just noticed, at the moment on the forum for Attack Squadrons there is a beta code that current beta people can give to friends so that they can participate, but will only be available for 500 people. Since the beta is only currently available in North America, if anyone from NA wants to try I can PM it to you or whatever.

EDIT: Also just noticed I have 5 extra codes in my e-mail, so if anyone wants to try, hit me up. Very Happy
