General Rules and Guideline

Welcome to the Moon Breakers official forum. We welcome all registered members to discuss content of Moon Breakers game as well as your own topics of choice. We do however ask in order to keep these boards clean and as enjoyable for everyone you would read the rules below.

If you don't agree with them you can leave this section of the forums, or refuse to register an account. Upon breaking a rule you might receive a warning, but this is not mandatory. You can be banned for your first offense of breaking these rules.


GENERAL RULES
These rules apply to all Forum categories.
The following behaviors are prohibited. If you break these rules, you might earn an instant ban regardless of which moderator sees the post(s).
• Using racist, sexist, homophobic or hateful language.
• Being offensive towards a forum member about their race, religion, or orientation.
• Discussion of religion, race or sexual discrimination as other users may find this offensive.
• Using offensive words in username or member's profile
• Posting pornographic (including cartoon porn) or NSFW (Not Safe For Work) material.
• Linking to pornographic or NSFW material without a clear warning.
• Linking to viruses, referral sites, or maliciously coded websites either in your signature or in your post.
• Discussing illegal activities – including, but not limited to: ROMs, cracks, warez and hacking.
• Instigating or discussing malicious attacks on other websites
• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, disruptive, insulting posts, personal attacks or any inflammatory posts. So be polite.
• Link schemes, misleading links, any other website that shortens URL's for the purpose of hiding the true content of earning money material is not allowed.
• Posting any member's real life information without permission.
• Impersonating the Moon Breakers staff members, squadron members or other players.
• Bumping threads, or any old topic without a good reason and new information.
• Making multiple short posts (five words or less) over a short time period.
• Giving out/requesting personal information, i.e. Telephone numbers, addresses etc.
• Do not sell/Trade on these forums.
• Attempting to smartass your way around these rules.


The OTHER RULES
If you break these rules, you're definitely risking being banned. Think before you post.
• Posting in a language other than English for the sole purpose of excluding the majority of the users (This rules does not apply to Other Languages section)
• Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed
• Remaking or complaining about a locked or deleted thread by creating a new thread.
• Complaining or boasting about any ban, including comments in signature text.
• Sharing your infraction message on the forums with other users
• Spamming, repeatedly posting the same content
• Posting flashing, strobing images that might discomfort other members.
• ALL CAPS posting.
• All signatures must be made in English
• You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
• Multiple or repeated posting similar content in different boards is not allowed.
• Chasing / harassing / flaming other users, regardless of who instigated it.
• Please edit your posts rather than make double/triple/quadruple posts. Posts will be merged. (2 or more consecutive posts by the same person)
• The only time a double post is permitted is if your previous post is 60 days old and new material. (Within reason and at staffs discretion)
• Harassing other users by having a continuous negative or bitter attitude towards them.
• Insulting or harassing moderators and forum memberss. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems.
• Trolling: cruising the boards looking for a fight.
• Repeatedly advertising your website.
• Recreating a thread that has been created recently. Use the search bar before hitting "New Topic".
• Please refrain from over abusing colored text whilst using the forum. Some users may be color blind and it may be difficult for them to read. Also, it makes moderators eyes hurt.
• Making stats threads.
• Posting "Use the search", "Use Google" or similar messages without providing relevant links.
• Posting lame chat conversations. No one cares. Seriously.
• Attempting to smartass your way around these rules.



General Conduct

Before making a topic make sure you are posting in the correct forum. It should be pretty clear where to post since each forum has a description.

Give your topic a good title! This is often overlooked, and "WTF?" gives no clue as to what your topic will be about.

Before posting a topic, please ask yourself the following question: "Am I making a post which is either funny, informative, or interesting on some level?" If you can answer "yes" to this, then please post. If you cannot, then refrain.

Before replying, please ask yourself: "Does my reply offer any significant advice or help contribute to the conversation in any fashion?" (As a side note, posting "Use the search bar" is never helpful. First, if you have used the search bar and have found something relevant, just post the relevant link instead. Next, how can you presume that the person posting comments hasn't already tried the search bar and didn't find what they're looking for?)


Some simple guidelines:
• Try to use proper punctuation and grammar, or understandable language which majority of forum members could understand.
• Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse not to follow them.
• Lurk first, post second. Read the entirety of every thread you post in before you post.
• If you're about to make a post that you're not sure is OK, whether covered by the rules or not, don't.
• If you can't make a positive contribution to a topic, don't post.
• If you're not here to have fun, go elsewhere.
• We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
• Read, re-read, and respect these rules.



Help us help you! Each post can be reported by using the "Report and abuse" function at bottom right corner. This will automatically alert the forum admins and moderators to investigate. If you feel someone is abusing the above rules or offended you, report them and we will take action. Although the administrators and moderators will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and we are not held responsible for the content of any message.


While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
