Hey everybody, Vonstapler here!

I'm new-ish to the game (I got it a few days after it hit steam) and as of twenty four hours of in game time, I still find it thoroughly enjoyable! Since I plan to stick with the game, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself to the community. I play on the US West server, and tend to fly light or med. fighters. At the moment, I don't have any ships other than my Mamba and Rhino, but I've got the mamba fully upgraded (except for missile fuel, which seems kinda useless to me), and I plan on jumping into the sidewinder just as soon as paypal gets around to putting money in my steam wallet. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this game as much as I do, and I hope to see you all on the field, whether it be as a team member or through the sights of my mamba. Have a good one!

Welcome to the madness!

I like to fly cheese in a thunderstorm.

Rocket fuel will really shine in carrier assault and long range remote detonations.

Xenotrickster is right about the rockets; increased range means you can shoot turrets from further out.

Thanks, that's a good point. I do have some cred sunk into it, but I'm not sure I want to make the full investment. In any case, the question will become academic once I buy a boost or three and have cred out the ears.
