8/1 Patch notes
Rapid cannon damage set to 150 from 140
Beam cannon bonus damage reduced from 20% to 15%
Missile bonus damage reduced to 10% from 15%
Little known fact: Normal torpedos have 33% more explosion damage than advanced
All ships have their speed and agility adjusted and at least .1 pump speed increase.
Lots of gametype changes that I don't know all of.

Gametype changes:
S&D goes the full distance, which is now 15 minutes - no more kill quota to end the game
CTF now has a 10 flag limit, not 3.

i couldnt zoom out using the [ ] last night.. not sure how this effects everything.. or if there is a new key asignment for this

It was temporarily removed from MB in the last update, but after some complaints the devs restored it - you can now zoom out again as you did before.

the fun factor really went up considerably with this update. for me anyway.

Timberwolf is a speedy beast, able to coast like the Sidewinder or Kingfisher, and leaves the Panther far behind. Handling wasn't improved much on it that I can tell. I don't fly the other bombers, so I don't know how they are now.
Torpedo vs Advanced torpedo damage difference has always been in effect since they added remote detonate, but it's hard to notice the difference when both types are likely to kill any light or medium ships caught in the blast.
Zoom functions normally again. I like WJ's suggestion that zoom distance could be relative to current speed; higher speeds means the camera pulls back farther, lower speeds the camera moves closer. He still needs to fix the max turn limits, though.

Not sure if its just me ... in a couple of CTF games immediately after tagging the flag on the enemy carrier the game window flashed green (like a massive unholy incredible hulk had smashed on my canopy) and my ship exploded. Even one time in a bomber just to see if I was getting sniped by a beam jockey far away.... BUT Each death said I had augered in and every time I was in clear space above and behind the enemy carrier... so being shot at seems unlikely.
Each time I wasnt aware of any pursuers and was avoiding the turrets as usual.....
Strangely though this hasn't happened at all today!!!!
Anyone else notice this ???

I didn't see that particular problem, but I did see a ton of crashes when I played last night.

It seems that I experienced seeing this sort of Super Jumping, Amazing Zig Zag on the Euro server or when I am playing on the USA servers on the weekend from here.

I have run into invisible obstacles while carrying the flag. It's disconcerting because nobody was shooting at me...
