William Johnson (Engineer): Bounty for YouTube VDOs
http://moonbreakers.userecho.com/topic/113852-bounty-for-youtube-videos/
I am offering a bounty for YouTube videos showing current gameplay.
- 100000 CR for the best video posted for each ship.
- 500000 CR for videos that gets 1000+ views.
To attempt to collect:
1) You must be good at flying your ship. You don't have to be the best, just familiar with the basics.
2) Post a video to YouTube with 'Moonbreakers' in the title.
3) Post in this thread with a link to the video.
Awards will be given 1 week from Sunday. The 1000+ view bounty will stand until canceled. If you think you can do even better than 1000+ views, prove it and I'll up the bounty accordingly.
I reserve the right to reject videos that are offensive.

Some of you guys have good vdo's out there already from what I've heard / seen.
The possibilities are endless! You could write up a script a la Ferc Polo style and dictate it over the footage like an AFTAC instructional vdo. You could cap footage and turn it into an ad selling the ship in question as the manufacturer.
WJ says "for each ship type". So at best guess they might be looking for a visual version of the AFTAC primers, or a show-case on how a particular ship flies/handles, with experienced fliers showing the casual gamer / new to the game players what these ships are capable of.

I work until 8 PM my time tonight and am on-call until I reach the office again at 0800 tomorrow morning...so I doubt I'll have a chance to do this until I'm off on Tuesday.

Doesn't matter if someone else does the A-80; what matters is making yours THE BEST!
FRAPS is fairly easy to figure out to at least record basic video; if I can manage it I'm sure you guys'll be able to. The harder bit is editing footage afterwards or finding a good-segment of video.
There was certain times where the Aussie server was mostly/completely empty; about 3-6am AEST (not sure what that translates to for US-East; and maybe around 9am-12pm for West); not sure if any of the other servers have moments of zero population on but it's a start if any of you out there want 'clean' footage without being bumped into or dying halfway through something.
