In Your Opinion...
I need something else to work towards.
I have:
F3
F3X
FM25
B7
B10T
and they are all fully upgraded.
So far the things people have suggested I work towards are:
Anger: M10
Nite: "A heavy"
Loki: G5, Stingray, Piranha
So, I want your opinions, what should I strive for next?

I suggest a G5, Stingray, or Piranha.
M10 is good if you wish to advance your beam expertise with something faster (Challenge: Drifting beamshot vs carrier lurker with all turrets active! Bonus points if they're an A80 or carrying the flag).

G5 is the best all around. This should have been your first ship.

Re: In Your Opinion...
G5 cannot compete with M10 for carrier defense... even though we lost that game, i still racked up something like 22 torpedoes and 18 kills using nothing but M10... it takes skill to use and skill is rewarded. skill with G5 plateaus fairly quickly as it is a simple upgrade from sidewinder tactics.

Re: In Your Opinion...
I have to agree with anger on this. I love the g5 and you should have it but a well piloted m10 hurts very much
That's actually the ship I'm saving up for now
It will probably be my last one.

Re: In Your Opinion...
How different are fast cannons compared to normal machine guns? Sure they take my Sidey out in three hits, but are they hard or easy to adapt to?
So far I'm leaning towards the M10.

Re: In Your Opinion...
fast cannon projectile is marginally faster, but to the eye not by much. talking 5% difference or so. but due to the lower rate of fire, you cannot just hold down fire and expect to land hits in succession, necessarily; much more burst control and test shots / lead shots are needed (actually not a bad step into beam brawling tactics).
