This game is by Chris Roberts (Wing Commander & co).
It will be especially made for the Oculus Rift.

Cris Roberts later admitted that the visible thruster action isn't physically correct.
He did this, so it would look better. There will also be speed limit & co.
Maybe there will be an option to deactivate those things.

Im so exited about this game, specially the corvette class. I believe for 300 U$ u get a ship that can be flown by five people. And also has sotrage for two pledge ships, this means its like sankukai. Im thinking of getting a Hornet similar to an x-wing, a bit expensive, but hope its worthy since it wil be there forever with insurance.

So many possibilities with this game, so many players...

One more year to go...

Got my own RSI space suit ready to fly my 325a fighter.

Bites we a re going to kick ass badly, hope more moonbreakers join us in our quest to dominate the unknown galaxy.





Note: On one pass we can see the fall of the concordia, that must be Blair with Paladin standing there, just a bit for the fans.

Just downloaded the star citizen hangar module and this how it looks on my old GTX 460 768mb not to bad.

Decided to take the plunge and "invested" in a 301, which it appears to be upgradable to a 325 (unless I'm misreading things). I do hope this game's all its cracked up to be - if not, well, I've lost more money than that on the share market.

yes, at the moment you can get an upgrade package for the 300i to the 315P or the 325A in the store, they do special sales on occasions and you might be able to get the 350R (Racer) upgrade (which I got), be aware that upgrade packages are not yet implemented in the hangar

Well its hard to get the "bug" when as yet I have no real grasp on what the gameplay will be like. To be honest, what I see right now is a lot of hype and speculation, am hoping it delivers on it & doesn't turn into the biggest scam in the history of PC gaming

hey there, nice to see you're still active everybody!
before I spend any money (why is there NO DEMO????) how to you judge the feel when flying, dogfighting? I tried lots of space combat games but never experienced the simple flow of moonbreakers again. Is SC worth, if you're just interested in flying and fighting? (I'd leave away all the trading, building stuff....)

There was one week free, so everybody could try it... problem is 25 gb download...

Also u need top PC, and amazing video card to run.

Quite frankly, I'd be STUNNED if that game EVER gets finished. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the devs took the money people have already put into that game and disappeared with it.
