The below is true
Got bored one morning, and wrote out the below - can you make sense of this before your mind melts? yes really, it can be done.
The more you read this, comprehension declines. There may be a pattern here. Can you continue and determine? The nature is elusive yet aforementioned qualities apply. Not all appears, or known, nor ambiguous by no coincidence. Xor failure?
Exist answer, perhaps in the next: not here, thou-st misread. Adjectives redundant, absolutes matter; substance has weight, relevance none. The self a glass maze, this puzzle a mirror - reflects no reflection but offers deflection to intended intention.
An ultimate hint lest one is tangled... Sought is the concept enlightening, revealing; semantics unhelpful, grammar annealing. Twist not the tongue, something else in place; A concept outside ye olde time and space.

Re: The below is true
nope, was totally sober while writing that... for once...
i can't give any more clues - the clues in themselves are clues, as is this one
edit - to clarify that better: the clues are written in a way that contain clues... and this is a clue already there lol

Is there a mathematical pattern involved?
A code?
A code?

Re: The below is true
its not mathematical, and the 'pattern' to the clues will give the answer away lol... the rub is if i tell you how to interpret it, i will be giving away the answer.
there is no (logical) code to this at all. it is designed to mess with you - there are many ways to interpret it; reading it 'as is' gives you the clues, combining the clues yields a hint at what the answer is.
it can't be worked out using comprehension or reasoning, but it still obeys logic once you figure it out. it is not an object. (perhaps this will say too much) it references itself on several levels, taking into account that you will read it multiple times.

getting warmer... you're on the right track but that isn't it. the mind is still an 'object' in some sense (an entity at least, whether physically real or otherwise).
(edit - i will honestly be surprised if anyone figures it out exactly, if you have the right idea i will reveal the answer)

Re: The below is true
At first glance I'm thinking the 'consciousness' or perhaps more specifically the 'soul'
though 'Sanity' also makes some sense
But all of the above is about your perception of reality and the ultimate existential truth.

And there is a grammatical pattern of sorts...

very close lol, it is related to perception and reality, and without saying too much, truth to an extent.
if you have gotten this far, the 3rd fragment should allude to it but the vocabulary may escape most...

The Media IS the message!
Other than that, I got nothing. To be honest, I read the first 5 words, Decided I didn't have enough coffee in the house to deal with it, so I played the Smart-Ass Card.

ironic given that the answer has to be used when working out what the answer is... but then i doubt many here will have much interest in linguistics / semantics and theory of mind, so the answer i'm after at best can be described but not stated, if that makes sense. the answer is a pure concept and is fundamental to thought itself, even if no one is aware when they make use of it and when they do not.

Re: The below is true
I'll give it another 14 hours before i reveal the answer... to speed things up, it is one word with two syllables. even if you don't know this word that should make it fairly easy to guess now...

Re: The below is true
It's language isn't it? or writing (I can't see the distinction given the clues though)

Re: The below is true

but anywho... i will think on this.

Re: The below is true
And the answer is... "meta"
The concept "meta".
on its own, meta cannot be comprehended by our feeble human brains.
Meta, in common use, is a prefix to other concepts to denote a degree of abstraction - eg, physics is the study of the physical domain and all within it, meta-physics deals with concepts and ideas of which 'physics' as we know it is but one arbitrary possibility. It is more a philosophical concept than anything...
In other words, meta makes an infinity out of anything it is used in - a concept so absurd to every-day thinking that surprisingly many cannot even grasp it enough to appreciate the vacuum inducing void that is its meaning.
