Sooo... any chance some of the great moon breakers community here might be up to forming a Planetside 2 squad? (i'm downloading right now, so I don't know exactly how it works yet, but i'd love to see some of this community stay together.)

as soon i finish assasin creed 3 im downloading planetside

well... i'll be playing for new conglomerate on the US west server, or whatever passes for that.

I guess I'll look forward to working with you if you go that route, or getting shot up by you if like one of the other teams better.

Apparently i dont have enough ram for planetside 2. My brother is talking about remedying this for christmas. (the older little brother, not the one who tried playing Moonbreakers).

I cant imagine that helping the flight controls much, but maybe they can be remapped...

plz tell me you have less than 4GB of RAM or else im in the same situation:(

i haven't played it yet, too much work this week in fact i installed it yesterday late at night and im dying to try it, but i have like 6 hours of work left...

Planetside is a bit big for their britches... I want to play, but my laptop has the wrong GPU... so I say they can stuff it! I got 4Gb ram too... not gonna spend my whole paycheck JUST for planetside...

They have said that they are not done optimizing the game. Right now a lot of people have issues with Frames, but before spending life savings on a computer you might want to wait to see how much optimization they can do. The Frames Per Second should get better for everyone in time. (hopefully)

Although if its just RAM you're getting, well ram is pretty cheap... Compared to other components anyways lol.

not everyone is playing on a desktop though... me for one, on a gaming lappy, and while i can get as much as 8gb of ram in it (currently 4) that is considerably more expensive than typical ram last i looked...

Yeah I was looking at that too. I have already chosen my new gaming laptop, and there is a considerable price difference for the RAM increments. O.o It's ridiculously expensive. O_O

Same thing goes for the graphics cards. Everything is just so much more expensive in laptops... This is why I absolutely love my desktop. <3

Yeah, I hadn't thought of people on laptops lol. I'm always stuck in thinking why get a laptop when you can get a much better desktop for the same price. But I guess laptops do have their advantages, but as you guys said... Everything is more expensive when it is for a laptop.

That is why I personally only use my laptop to do work when I'm not at home, other than that I use my desktop. My laptop is horrible, and slow, but its good for that at least.

I have 4GB of ram, but my machine runs windows 7 & I play on steam, so apparently it's more like i have 3.5 GB of ram (maybe less).

now I have *8* Gig of RAM and the game runs smooth as prune fed baby poo.
(that tends to be pretty smooth)
