Re: Hi Everyone, I'm Delta38
I had said in the first post that I am a serious Chatterbox...
As a child my parents called me "The radio"...
Ok, I'll shut up! :-)

Re: Hi Everyone, I'm Delta38
I never know
As a minor update, I'm starting to really enjoy the G5 (Even half upgraded on its own hard earned creds), a real Death Machine and it can do some pretty agile rock hugging thanks to higher acceleration.
Though I must say, for most "dances" with other skilled (or far better than me anyway) fighters, the Mamba does have that edge (Which it lacks in survivability).
Also, when pulling tight loops attempting to get an edge on the strafe with another fighter, I find it sometimes successfully confuses them to break out of the looping and turn the other way (Not always though) and one can become an easy target if the trick is seen... But for those "Just out of my sight" loops it seems effective...
Enjoying this game ever more!
And becoming part f the community is an integral part of this.
Thank you once more for the pointer Wolski!

Try reducing your speed; tap the "D" key or spin the mousewheel down and don't touch the afterburner when you're in those situations.

Thank you Loki,
coming to think about it, it makes perfect sense that the turnrate is inversely proportional to speed...
I'll try it out immediately... :-)
For some reason it got a priority override in my mind with the "Speed is Life" maxim of flight sims and FPS in general

I was the same way, too. Used to get the "Most Frantic" award in Golden Eye way back when. ...usually paired with "AC -10".
Slowing down a touch will add a few kills to your name, but is more an advanced use of the drifting technique described in a few places in the Gameplay section. Use this to gain the edge over another ace while dueling.

Hi, Delta! Glad to see you in our hangar!
F3 in skillful hands is not so harmless as it seems!
