My A-80 has a carton of cigarettes, an ipod with all of my music, a flask of bourbon, and an old school gameboy with tetris.

All of my fighters just have one of those big red "Bullshit" buttons labeled "In case of Lag"
I think it's about broken with as many times as I've hit it
Meanwhile my Rhino has a George Foreman grill in it and a classic old-timey record player with big band and smooth jazz playing. Looks sorta like a classic, upscale lounge in there.
Now my Swordfish has an additional terminal with only 1 function: Spider Solitaire (For CTF and CA games when I'm running Defense). As well as a Camel Back filled with Mt. Dew.

If I drank scotch my Spider Solitaire games might be a wee bit tougher

Today I added a set of TruckNutz to my Viper...so if you see something dangling above your cockpit...
Also one of those novelty bumper sticker thingies that says "How's my driving?"

Re: Accessories
I just finished installing a barbed bayonet on the cannon of my G5. (not like that gun has worked since my last "custom upgrade" anyway)
Now when I ram people it sticks
Edit: just now noticed the signature above. Looks like I'm not the first to get this idea.

Re: Accessories
most of my ships are still stock. My only real change is the addition of deep bucket seats in my G5, and my Timberwolf has some extra crash netting for when I bounce off the enemy carrier. Also, I've removed some unnecessary parts from the sidewinder to reduce weight; like the A/C, the life support systems, and the shield generator.

Re: Accessories
So today, I decided that since I got my Mamba fully upgraded now, it needs something to give it that extra pizzazz. So now it has a custom horn Module that is rigged to sound like the General Lee.
So if you're wondering why there are the occasional freeze-frame moments in a game, it's usually the prelude to when I crash into a bomber.

My Hammerhead has one map wallet full of old star charts (managment won't spring for a nav. computer).
It has a second map wallet full of Nudey Magazines (you know, for the articles)
I have a hammer under my seat for adjusting the targeting system.
And, I also keep a single shot 37mm flare gun in a shoulder holster. It's in case I see Viking Jack coming, I plan on a self-inflicted empty brain pan. That guy is so good, I won't give him the satisfaction of another kill tally.

Re: Accessories
All my ships have 47 airbags. They won't let me install them on the outside, since the factories say these things won't fly with Bubble Wrap around them. I wish it was on the outside, because they don't do a damm thing on the inside, I keep dying anyways.
Also, All the light fighters have a Ipod hookup, the mediums have just radios, and the Heavies have 8 tracks. Led Zep on 8track is way cool! The bombers I have no idea, as I never really fly them unless forced.
The Viper has an ejector seat, but the damm thing only fires if I am sitting still. So never. I wish I had Rear View Mirrors in the G5. Would help. And the Sidewinder, I have coated the cockpit walls in old Pirelli Calendars and it doubles the shielding it has.
And the A80 if you look at the Front of it has a Bullhorn that I can shout through as I ram some poor sob that comes head to head with me while I am waiting for missiles to recharge. YeeeeeeeHaaaawwww!

Re: Accessories
I had this great idea to customize my A-80 to launch a Mamba as an escape capsule. I took it up with the techs, but they told me my A-80 already farts mambas.
Apparently it's safer to just bail out of a smoking A-80 with nothing more than my E-suit, a standard issue counter measure in one hand and a pistol in the other.
You know what, I'll take my chances with the cockpit closed.

Re: Accessories
So I talked to the techs about saving some money by loading some of my A-80's missiles with paint instead of explosives. The idea was that I could spare a few of the enemy mamba pilots and just humiliate them by painting over the cockpit, & if the paint got in the engine, well that explodes anyway.
Apparently I hadn't even noticed that the techs were already loading one in six of my warheads with gravel. Pebble in an engine; boom. Pebble through a cockpit; pop. Pepple through a Mamba; ka-poof-boom-pop.

Re: Accessories
So I've decided to add just a little weight to my sidewinder, I've outfitted it with a 12 gallon tank of water and a mister that fires out the back. In the event that I can't evade a chaser I just vent a few gallons and the ice crystals tear the pursuing ship apart. Also, if I ever get thirsty mid missing, I have some drinking water within easy reach!

Re: Accessories
You know our ships use ion engines... right?
A trail of ionized ice is a free hit for those ion beam weapons, and have you ever noticed that your engine dies right after you drop mist? yeah that's cuz the ionized ice conducts a bolt of electricity from your pursuers ice-shredded power plant directly to your engine.
but hey, you've got a nice cool drink of "why oh why did I do that" while you're waiting for someone else to finish you off.

Re: Accessories
Now ya see, here's where my previous modifications come into play. My replacing nearly every metal part on my ship with plastic in order to reduce weight, not only did I weaken the ships structural integrity by about 45%, I also insulated the engine entirely. That bolt of electricity that strikes my ship does nothing more than scramble my instruments and char the paint, and really, have you seen me fly? I'm not using the instruments even when they do work.
