I hate FM25s. Doesn't matter what ship I fly in S&D, if there's an FM25 in the game I will blindside it at every opportunity - and that's just the ones on my team.

My biggest hurdle was in lead-off... In the Mamba, you can correct your aim as you shoot.
The beam that the Nighthawk has doesn't allow for aim correction. And if you miss, everybody knows that you're there...
It's a challenge, but what fun would the game be if it wasn't a challenge?

I also finished upgrading my Nighthawk in the lobby before the next match...

note on aiming beams with nighthawk... it is different to krait / cobra fundamentally, and besides just having 2 beams with a longer cooldown...

krait / cobra fire their beam from above your ship, but nighthawk fires beams from where the krait would its rockets, roughly. the difference is enough that you have to compensate vertically more drastically for the nighthawk than you would other beam ships.

Landon was a menace in this...
He only died twice, and that was near the end of the match...

I don't know if it matters, but he was in the G5...

I had to quit a game of CTF, because this idiot totally F--ked the game up!
I ran the flag to about 1500m away from my base, and this retard in a B-7 swoops in, takes the flag, and then goes to dogfight over the ENEMY carrier!
When he's finally downed, the score is 0-2, and the flag is less than 500m from the ENEMY carrier!
I had to quit, because I was about ready to throw my computer out the f--king window!
Don't you hate it when people pull retarded moves like that?

I just did a gorgeous CA match on Broadsides. There was such good teamwork that three people managed to take out the enemy carrier with 7:30 left on the clock...
I started by using my F-3 to take out the towerside trench turrets, and as I moved on, ReD came right behind me in his B-7, and started chucking torps into the trench.
I then proceeded to systematically decimate the other 14 turrets.
I was killed when two of the top turrets were at slivers of health. I simply hopped into my B-10T, took out the last two turrets and proceeded to pound the carrier to kingdom come.
Even with only one lvl 3 upgrade (the rest were at lvl 2...), the T-wolf is a great ship to fly, plus, it's nearly impossible to kill...

I wish I could play these huge games. I never get to. Can anyone tell me when these things happen? As for grinding noobs, I don't really enjoy it, and it's hilarious when I end up on their side.....

I know that Juice was the only one to score better than me, but him, TERRIBAD, Sweeny and debbiespah were all in Merlin's, while I stayed with my Nighthawk for the whole match.

I'm crying right now: Last night, I did a beautiful S&D match on Rock Field.
I was in my Nighthawk, solo'ing against two V-66's, flown by Debbiespah and this guy named Aeris.
At the end of the match, I had made 16 kills, while Deb and Aeris had 15.
Being able to hold your own against two of the faster ships in-game, while you yourself are in one of the slowest... That is the pinnacle.

Even the tracking missiles held no fear for me: I took out a minimum of six using remote-det rockets. I also occasionally slammed on the brakes, causing the v-66's to overshoot. That put them in a prime position for me to hit them with my beams.

The reason that I'm crying right now is this: I couldn't take a screenshot.
Think about that: One of the best matches that I've ever played, and I have no proof. Can you see my problem?

That's sad, Nightwing. However, being able to do that, wow....that's amazing.

Yeah... I even scare myself sometimes...
